Preparing your wedding cards will surely involve a lot of details. Almost all couples who are planning their weddings already know that wedding cards do not refer to the invitations alone. They can also refer to a host of other items such as the postcards, note cards, program cards, place cards, menu cards, thank you cards and announcement cards and other printed materials like directions or location maps.
The most basic items that should be planned and thought out are the paper, card stock, color and sizes to be used for the wedding invitation, envelopes and other wedding cards.
However, there are still other items that should not be left out in preparing the wedding cards:

These boxes are not just for decorations alone, but they also make nice souvenirs for both the couple and the guests. Some wedding boxes are ready-made and there are also that have been die cut and can be assembled. It can also be decorated to make that it follows the theme of the wedding. Other enterprising, creative couples also use the boxes as place names on the tables. Usually the boxes are filled with sweets or small gifts.
Serviette rings
These are also called napkin rings which was used to neatly roll-up the napkins and double-up as place holders.
Wedding embellishments
These are the items that are used to decorate the wedding cards and may be as simple as a satin ribbon or elaborate and elegant gold organza ribbons. Other embellishments used are adhesive stones, pearls, crystals, beads, stickers, hearts, flowers, glitters, bows, borders, padded ribbons, quotes, colored sand, paper rosebuds, silver glitters, crushed velvet flock and die-cut greetings.
Wedding Paper craft Books
Decorative figures or cut-outs to be used in making the scrapbook for wedding cards.
Wedding photo books
This is used to compile more personal photos in an informal way, as opposed to the wedding album which is a more formal and professionally done.
Wedding Stamps
These are rubber stamps that can be used to create unique wedding designs on the invitations, albums and all other wedding cards. It can be used with ink pads or employ embossing technique to create a different effect on paper. These stamps are often mounted on blocks of wood but recently, more and more makers of these are turning to a more modern method of using acrylic blocks that mounts the stamps as required.
