Many of your best memories have been captured in pictures. Instead of having loose pictures stowed away in some drawer or digital pictures that reside on your computer, you can use these pictures to create a photo memory book. The photo memory book can include these pictures as well as your words or captions and any other memorabilia. The memorabilia can be scans of programs, newspaper articles, or invitations.
Photo memory books are easily made with the software provided by one of the many photo book printer/publishers. This free software contains the layouts, backgrounds, and text options that you need to put your book together. You can then decide which size of book and type of cover you would like to complete your project. The output is a coffee table quality book that looks like you just bought at the book store.
Many times the ideas for a book are very obvious. For instance, you have been to a wedding and want to create a book of the pictures. Other times the ideas might not be so obvious because they might be a theme that could mean finding pictures that have been taken over a period of time such as a high school memory book that has been created for someone who is graduating.
Sometimes ideas are not as easy to come by as you might think. In order to find out the type of memory books people are making I scanned through several keyword searches and did an image search to come up with a list of 53 photo memory book ideas. From that list here are 14 great ideas for creating your own photo memory books:
